Jonny is fascinated by my sewing machine every time I get it out. He has had to investigate all of the buttons and knobs and switches. And when I wind a new bobbin, he comes running so he can watch the bobbin filling up with thread. His latest discovery is what the foot does when he pushes it down. The last time I had my machine out, Jonny climbed under the table and "helped" me push the foot down. He thought it was great to make noise and he discovered that the more he pushed down, the more noise he made! Since I was sewing straight seams, I let him continue to "help" me. (I know, crazy me!) I would tell Jonny, "Okay, go" and he would press down or I would say, "Stop, stop, STOP!" It was quite an adventure!Tuesday, February 7, 2012
