Line it up!

I've noticed lately that Jonny likes to gather things together and line them up.  It doesn't matter if it's a group of toys or a group of treats!  His line-ups usually fascinate me, so of course I have to take a photo!

Painting

My visiting teaching partner and I each have a little boy that we take with us when we go visiting teaching.  So far, it seems to work.  One of the ladies that we visit always has a little craft or treat for the boys.  (It's very sweet of her.)  One time, she had some little ceramic fridge magnets to paint.  Jonny chose a helicopter and I let him paint it all by himself after we got home.  We left it on the table to dry but after a while it was missing.  Jonny stuck it up on the fridge by himself.  He is very proud of that magnet and points it out to anyone that happens to be in our kitchen!

Wallace

Jonny loves to watch the clay-mation movies about Wallace & Grommit so when he stuck two chocolate balls in his mouth, I laughed at him and told him that he looked like Wallace!  Jonny thought that was pretty funny!

Falling Asleep While Reading

Last week, on our way back from the library, Jonny pulled out the books that we had just checked out. We normally bring home several Little Critter books and one or two Elephant & Piggie books by Mo Williams because Jonny loves them.  This week, Jonny was very excited about finding a David book by David Shannon.  Jonny was excitedly telling me about the book and I was trying to talk to him about it while not looking because I was driving!  After a while, it got really quiet and I found that he had fallen asleep while reading.  It makes my school teacher's heart happy that Jonny loves books!
