Going for a Walk

Jonathan LOVES to go for a walk! I've been carrying him in the sling. He always has to start out the walk with his head poking out so he can see everything, but it doesn't take too long before he is snoozing. We usually take him out every evening around 8:00. This past weekend, we weren't able to go because it was rainy. Boy, did he let us hear about it! Tonight, we used the stroller for the first time and Jonathan seemed to like it just as well as going for a walk in the sling. He's grown big enough that he doesn't need the fuzzy insert in the car seat anymore so we took it out and put it in the stroller. The stroller didn't put him asleep though. Maybe that's a good thing. Too many naps in the daytime makes for too much waking up at night!

Jonathan got a visit from Grandma Law. It meant a lot of extra hugs, kisses and cuddles!

Jonathan went to church for the third time today. He is always so good and everyone always tells us how cute he is. They also tell us how little he is, but he looks so big to us! He is little for being nearly two months old, but he has grown so much!

7 Weeks Old!

He's 10 pounds and finally bigger than the bunny!

Jonathan got a visit this week from Aunt Shannon and Aunt Steph, cousins Garrett and Odin, and Grandpa Gary. More people to hold and cuddle him!

A full belly and being cuddled! What more can you ask for?
Jonathan gets so content that his mouth often hangs open!

He's Laughing!

Jonathan started laughing this week. So now when he's happy (which is most of the day) he adds laughs to his smiles! After Chris and I finished some yardwork this afternoon, we sat out on the front porch with him. Jonathan LOVED it! He is just so darn cute!

5 Weeks Old

Okay, I knew that little boys are dangerous, but today was ridiculous! We were all dressed and ready to leave the house when Chris said, "Oh, no!" as he held Jonathan away from him. Somehow, Jonathan was shooting a stream of pee out of his diaper and through his clothes. And since I was walking by, I also got sprayed! How is that possible?!

Do you think Jonathan looks a little chubbier? Well, according to our unscientific tests, he is! I stood on the scale and then stood on the scale again holding Jonathan. He was wearing clothes and a diaper but I was exactly eight pounds heavier while holding Jonathan!
