I knew it was probably coming, but I was hoping Jonny wouldn't go through this phase. He's been pretty cooperative when we get the camera out, but lately he's developed a new pose to use in pictures: eyes scrunched closed!You might be wondering about the corn? That's Jonny's corn-sicle! We went to a neighbor's house and they wanted to share their garden produce with us. Jonny followed Thad into the corn while Thad picked a bunch of corn. When they were finished, Jonny wanted to go back in the corn patch. Thad took him back in and showed him how to pick an ear of corn. It was a really old piece, but Jonny pulled all of the husk off and then proudly carried that corn around for the rest of the night. He even took a few bites. It took a bit of convincing to get him to put it away at bedtime!
