No, this is not actually gum in Jonny's hair. It is a piece of salt water taffy. When I took this picture, I was feeling pretty happy that Jonathan hasn't had gum in his hair. I've let Jonny have tiny pieces of gum before this and haven't had any trouble with it. Well, this taffy should have been a warning to me because it wasn't but a day or two later that Jonny's gum ended up in his hair! He still occasionally tells the story of, "gum, hair, Grandma, butter..." to which I reply, "Yes, you had gum in your hair so Grandma put peanut butter. You don't put gum in your hair! It's yucky!"

Gum in the Hair
No, this is not actually gum in Jonny's hair. It is a piece of salt water taffy. When I took this picture, I was feeling pretty happy that Jonathan hasn't had gum in his hair.
