Jonathan has gotten to be quite a good helper. He will help pick up his toys, will put his shoes away and will throw away his diaper. He loves to pull a chair over while someone is doing the dishes or cooking. But, there are a few things that might be better if he wasn't such a helper...
For instance, Chris changed the batteries in Jonathan's toy train a while ago. If Jonathan spots the screwdriver (we keep in on top of the fridge) then he begs to use it. He knows right where to put the screwdriver and tries awfully hard to get the screw out, but luckily he can't.
Jonathan will gladly "help" himself to computer time if the laptop is left where he can reach it. He can open and close it, he loves to press keys on the keyboard or click on the mouse. And yesterday, we discovered that he found the button to turn the laptop off!!!!
Jonny really likes to help vacuum, but (if given the chance) he will also "help" by emptying out the dirt catcher. Unfortunately, the dirt always gets dumped out on the floor!
