Two Month Check Up

We took Jonathan in for his two-month check-up on Thursday. Here is the break-down:
  • He weighs 11 pounds, 8 ounces and is 22 1/4 inches long. That means he has grown 4 inches in the past two months!! It also means that he is now in the 25th percentile for his weight and height.
  • We were able to answer "yes" to all of the nurse's questions to make sure that Jonathan is developing normally: he smiles, turns his head to noise, grasps things handed to him, coos, responds to someone speaking to him, and lifts his head at a 45 degree angle.
  • See the band-aids in Jonathan's legs? That's because he got three immunization shots. The nurse was very good and got it over quickly, but Jonathan still hated it. His legs didn't seem to bother him until after bedtime. At 11:30 p.m., he woke up screaming! All I have to say is thank goodness for infant Tylenol and father's blessings!
